The last round of U.S. stimulus checks were distributed in April for $1,200 to help us for 2 months. Here we are, 9 months later, and the latest round of proposed stimulus checks are for *checks notes* $600.
Congress is old AF so I guess it’s not that surprising that they essentially just told the whole country, “Here’s $5, go get yourself a candy bar…and stay off our lawn!”
