Why “Sammiches and Psych Meds”?

When this site first came to fruition, Lola’s life was characterized by making sandwiches for school lunches, making sandwiches for snacks, making sandwiches for dinner when she forgot the little people she created need food to survive, and eating sandwiches. The psych meds part? That was a reference to her anti-anxiety medication, which in times of stress kept her from shaving the dogs and hot-gluing tufts of hair to random parts of her husband’s body while he slept. And, well, the name just stuck.
