Being a parent is so hard. Despite the abundance of unsolicited advice, there seems to be a serious lack of unsolicited support.
Everyone parents differently, and sometimes those become lines that divide us. However, the truth is that we are all in this chaos together and trying our hardest amidst struggles and obstacles. Although they may look different for you and me, they still exist and are valid.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t think of a recent time that I couldn’t have used a pep talk or any sort of acknowledgment that “hey – you’re doing your best!”
It’s such a small thing, but just an ear to listen and vent to (judgement free) is invaluable as a parent. It can be a hard and lonely road, and at the end of the day we are all just trying our best to make it through and raise good people.

[adsanity id=”35666″ align=”aligncenter”/]So if you know a mom or see a mom, tell her she’s doing great. Such a small gesture can mean the world and make a massive difference in her hectic day. It might just be the exact thing that she needs to hear in this moment – or any moment.
And remember to extend that kindness to yourself. You are also doing great and deserve a pat on the back, too.
Make sure to share this with a friend if they could use a boost. After all, we are all in it together.
