And that’s exactly what viewers get when they watch meggs and bacon’s makeup tutorial on YouTube, a video that is quickly making the rounds on social media because of its hilarity.

In the video, YouTuber meggs and bacon models her favorite products and her expert makeup application, only instead of narrating the tutorial herself, she has her dad provide a voiceover, and the things he says are absolutely hysterical.

Right from the start, this funny daddy takes a crack at his daughter’s application of e.l.f. primer, stating that it’s a “hydrating moisturizer” that’s “made from the sweat of elves.” But he doesn’t stop there.

As his daughter begins to apply her foundation, he jokes that all you have to do is “make silly little spots, kind of like makeup camouflage, so if there’s a whole bunch of makeup around you, you wouldn’t be able to see me because I’m all camouflaged.”

When she gets to the concealer portion of the tutorial, he equates its application to putting on war makeup, emphasizing the importance of making three little lines, which are, according to him, for “health, wealth, and happiness.”

While the whole thing is hilarious, I about fell out of my chair when he starts talking about drawing on eyebrows because “I don’t like the eyebrows I was given” and using only a couple of the eyeshadow colors out of a “very expensive palette,” which he cautions viewers not to tell her dad because “it’s kind of a waste.”

In all, there are too many humorous subtleties to recount. But one thing is for sure: This dad and daughter duo have one hella funny gimmick going for them.
