The El Paso zoo made headlines for offering the unique opportunity to have a cockroach named after your ex, and then given to a meerkat as a Valentine’s day meal. The whole thing was livestreamed on Facebook.

The process for the “Quit Bugging Me” meerkat event went like this: Message the zoo on Facebook with your ex’s name, and then wait to watch the whole thing on February 14th. How romantic! Viewers can see it on Facebook or on the zoo’s webpage. The names were even made public a few days beforehand.

Imagine if you and your ex both submitted each other? KISMET!

Well, the zoo is hinting toward another go round, making eager commenters very happy to throw their exes under the bus… er, into the meerkat’s mouth.
