Donald Trump’s running mate and our vice president-elect has been a vocal opponent of Planned Parenthood.  Donald Trump himself has said that women should be punished for having abortions.

As many of us who have used Planned Parenthood at some point in our lives know, it is essential in providing comprehensive health care to women who may otherwise not be able to afford it.

Donate to Planned Parenthood in Mike Pence’s name.

On Planned Parenthood’s donation page, there is a box you can check to indicate that your donation is in honor of “someone special.” That someone special is Mike Pence, and you can fill in his name and address. When you do, a certificate will be sent to him notifying him of your donation.

It’s that simple. You don’t have to stop there. Donate to whichever causes you feel passionately about that are threatened by the new administration. It could be your local LGBT advocacy group or organization dedicated to racial justice.
