Target’s Biggest Gift Card Sale of the Year Is Happening Sunday

If you love Target (c’mon, who doesn’t?), you’re gonna love this: The store’s biggest gift card sale of the year takes place Sunday, December 2, and much like Clark Griswold’s membership to the Jelly of the Month Club, it’s the gift that keeps on giving all year long.

For one day only, consumers can get gift cards at 10 percent off to hand out to family and friends for the holidays or even to keep for themselves. (I’m liking that second option the best. Just kidding, I’m a giver.) This means you can enjoy savings all year long, whether you give them away (nobody has to know you didn’t pay full price) or save them up for a rainy day.

Perhaps the best part? You don’t even have to put on pants to cash in on this sale. Gift cards are available for purchase at the discounted price online as well as in stores. TAKE MY MONEY.

Gift card purchases are limited to $300 per customer, and savings start at a minimum purchase of $10. Gift cards are redeemable both in stores and online starting Monday, December 3 at 10:00 am Central Time.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I am going to be firing my computer up as soon as I hop out of bed tomorrow and logging into Target.com to reap the benefits of this early holiday gift. I’ve got teachers, physical and occupational therapists, and family members to stock up for, and I’ll be damned if I miss out on an opportunity such as this.

And I’d be lying if I said I’m not going to stock up on a few for myself as well. Ten percent off all those unexpected clothing, scarf, shoe, and dollar bin purchases I make every time I stroll in there? I can’t resist that.

And I’m not trying to speak for the man and the legend myself, but I’m pretty sure even Clark Griswold would appreciate this Christmas bonus.
