Scott Baio Gets A Taste Of His Own Medicine, Finds It Bitter

I have a confession to make: I used to have a big crush on Scott Baio. What can I tell you? In the 1980s, Chachi Arcola was IT for me.

I remember once in kindergarten my teacher asked all of us who our heroes were and I said, “My boyfriend.” Taken aback, my teacher asked, “And who is that?” I said, “Scott Baio.” Yep. In 1980, there was an elementary school in Kalamazoo, Michigan with a wall display listing all of my classmates’ heroes’ names on it and next to my name it said “Scott Baio.”

I tell you that you so you know I don’t make the following statement lightly: Scott Baio is a giant douche bag.

If you have yet to put that “replace Trump with pictures of kittens” filter on your web browser, you’re probably aware that Scott Baio has been an outspoken supporter of Donald Trump for a while now.

For example, here is Baio on Fox News shortly after Trump’s “grab ’em by the pussy” debacle, explaining that he likes Trump because Trump speaks “like a guy” and goes on to say, “Ladies out there, this is what guys talk about when you’re not around so if you’re offended by it, you need to grow up.” (Seriously, it’s even more condescending than you are currently imagining. Give it a watch.)

Why am I bringing this up now? It’s old news, right? Not anymore.

According to TMZ, Scott Baio recently filed a police report against Nancy Mack, wife of Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer (and Will Ferrell look alike) Chad Smith for attacking Baio over his pro-Trump comments.

Baio contends that Mack berated him and grabbed him while repeatedly shouting, “Grab ’em by the pussy!”

Mack explained that she was only trying to demonstrate Donald Trump’s method of hugging women for Baio. Mack is now listed as a battery suspect while the matter is investigated.

This writer thinks Scott Baio should just get over it.
