Do you need a break from the semi-coherent candidate memes and election coverage that is turning your social media feed into a pre-apocalyptic shit fest?

Enter Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg with a dinner party show guaranteed to wash that bad election taste out of your mouth.

Just when you thought our country was divided beyond repair, the Queen of Connecticut and the King of Compton are coming together to show us what’s up. East Coast meets West Coast and the only beef to be had is Bourguignon, and it’s cooked to perfection.

Martha and Snoop’s relationship actually goes back several years. In 2008, a few years after Martha’s release from the pokey, Snoop appeared on Martha where they whipped up some mashed potatoes. (No word on whether or not they traded Pruno recipes.)

Snoop appeared on Martha’s show several more times and their relationship continued to blossom through chance encounters. (Vulture documents the charming evolution of their relationship in this timeline.)

In their newest collaboration, Martha and Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, the pair will cook up food and fun with a never-ending stream of special guests, including Seth Rogen, Ice Cube and 50 Cent.

Grab a plate of your favorite special brownies and tune in on November 7 at 10 pm EST on VH1.
