Local Woman Actually Pleased With $100 Haircut

By MockMom

This week, Jenna Severson, busy mother-of-three, decided she wanted to try having her hair cut short.

“I mean, I didn’t want a pixie cut or anything that would have people mistaking me for a man. But I think something like a bob cut would be less maintenance. I like the idea of bangs,” winced Severson.

Her hairstylist, Haley Rhodes, knew exactly what to do when Severson starting showing her pictures of cute celebrities with short hair. She got to work and gave Severson the perfect cut.

“I ended up only taking half an inch off and deep conditioning it,” said Rhodes. “Women come in all the time thinking a new haircut will be symbolic of some huge lifestyle change. But the truth is they always hate them.

“Every woman I’ve ever given bangs to immediately bursts into tears, saying they make her face look fat. Cutting bangs is a good way to make sure you never get tipped again. So I just stopped doing them,” added Rhodes.

As for Severson, this may be the first haircut she’s ever received that didn’t send her crying into the bathroom to have a nervous breakdown.

“I love it. I actually love it, though, not just saying that because I’m too nice to admit out loud that I hate it,” said Severson.

When reached for comment, Severson’s husband says the haircut “looks great” before adding, “I know she always gets mad when I say this, but honestly I can’t even tell the difference.”
