Local Man Mansplains Mansplaining

Some women seem to think that “mansplaining” is a real phenomenon, but here’s why they’re wrong:

Just because I’m explaining something and happen to be a man, I’m automatically mansplaining it? That seems pretty unfair coming from so-called feminists who preach equality.

I mean, just listen to yourself: You think people shouldn’t be judged by their gender but this entire concept is based on judging me solely on my gender. Pretty hypocritical, don’t you think?

Sure, you could continue to use the word mansplaining, but I don’t think you should be able to call yourself a true feminist. #MensRightsMatter

For instance, women claim that ALL men tend to over-explain things that they already understand. Well excuse us for trying to have a conversation. I’m sorry it obviously wasn’t what you wanted to hear. Wow, what an inconvenience that must have been for you. And no, I’m not being sarcastic, I just talk like this.

Maybe next time you should just speak up for yourself? Instead of being silently annoyed, you could tell me you already understand, so that I can casually interrupt you and continue explaining to you how your career and/or field of study works anyway.

Women also claim mansplaining has to do with power dynamics and how we use condescension and hyperbole to prove our points. CAN’T YOU SEE HOW THAT’S THE DUMBEST THING ANYONE’S EVER SAID?

You just don’t get it. Thanks for proving my point for me. Maybe do some research.
