For the third straight year, Bret McEntire has gone to O’Hara’s Pub to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, drink green beer, and use his same pick-up line:

“Do you have any Irish in you? Do you want some?”

McEntire tried this line on an endless string of women (and even a few men toward the end of the night), some of whom responded with a smile, laugh, or awkward conversation before eventually moving on to more promising, less shit-faced prospects.

However, to the shock of everyone, his line appears to have finally worked.

Recently divorced, single mother Linda (who prefers not to give us her last name and says it’s kind of in legal limbo right now anyway) responded to McEntire with a simple, “Okay, then. Let’s go.”

The overcrowded pub fell silent as Linda took Bret into one of the bathroom stalls to take him up on his offer.

About six minutes later, the two appeared back in the bar.

“It’s been a while since I had some strange in a bathroom, you know what I mean? Besides, I have a sitter for another two hours and I’m not going home until I absolutely have to.

“I might even try to find some more luck o’ the Irish, if you know what I mean. My ex and I hadn’t had sex in a while and I’m sort of making up for lost time here,” hiccupped Linda.
