Comedian Dad Reenacts 4-Year-Old’s Mishap And I’m Scream-Laughing

comedian dad william andrews hilariously recaps son's stinging nettle accident Sammiches and Psych Meds

British comedian and dad William Andrews went viral recently over a video he tweeted in which he reenacts the words his 4-year-old son said after taking a tumble into some stinging nettles. The hilarious dialogue happened while Andrews carried his distraught son home – an event parents know all too well. But it’s the spoken-word poetry-esque style Andrews uses in his Oscar-worthy video performance that has people scream-laughing.

Try not to cackle as you watch this video Andrews tweeted along with the caption, “My son fell over. This is my report”:

It’s bad. It’s bad. It’s the baddest. It’s worse. It’s worse. It’s getting worserer. It’s worser than the tree, than that house, than the river, than the rain. It’s getting worse. Ow, ow, ow. I may never stop saying ‘ow.’ Bring me to mummy. Bring me to mummy. Get me the cream.

In reference to his son’s tragic, albeit hilarious mishap, Andrews said, “His penchant for the dramatic turn of phrase is to be admired I think. I simply cannot fathom from where he has adopted such a style.”

In reaction to Andrews’ tweet, people are offering condolences and expressing solidarity with stories of their own children’s accidents that are funny now in hindsight.
