In case you’ve been off the Internet lately, there’s a challenge going around pioneered by none other than Dolly Parton herself.
The meme challenge is a series of pictures that highlight the differences in how people present themselves across several social media platforms. The ones typically used are LinkedIn (professional), Facebook (wholesome), Instagram (stylish) and Tinder (sexy). Although different people included other platforms such as Twitter or TikTok, the premise remains the same: each platform has a particular vibe and we adjust how we portray ourselves there accordingly.
Dolly Parton started the trend, posting the following Instagram meme. The rest is history, and it’s caught on like wildfire since, with many of us hopping on the train to share our own grid of photos.
