You’re tired, you’re exhausted, and you’d do anything for quiet, a glass of wine, and being able to binge watch anything on Netflix. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Working Mom, WAHM, SAHM, (fill in acronym here), any mom knows life is vastly different from the nine months before your little bundle of joy arrived.

I’ve found it’s not that life is better or worse (I mean, it’s definitely better), but you have a new normal. There are other things that make life better and brighter and sweeter, and others that make life a whole lot more complicated.

If you talk to my co-workers or husband, you know I’m a little militant about time-management. I mean, you’ve been there. You have 30 minutes left in your work day, and you know you have to get x, y and z done, and then another email comes in asking you to add to that list before you get in your car, get home and attend to a  whole new list. Your mind races to figure out, How can I get this all done with what is now 28 minutes?

A recent article in Forbes, “How To Have It All: Time Management Secrets from Six-Figure Moms,” caught my eye (great title, right?). There are a lot of interesting bits in this article, and I could probably write an entire unnecessarily long essay on it, but the point that stuck out to this schedulaholic was the fact that we have around 168 hours every week to fill in as we choose. There is a whole lot more time we’re not aware of, and the majority of working moms are spending a lot more time with their families than they realize. It’s all about what you do with that 168 hours.

In my almost one-year experience as a working mom (I know, I’m still a newbie), I’ve figured out some time management tips to make the most out of those 168 hours, and I hope a few can be helpful for you and your families:

1. Multitask Smartly. Find ways to combine priorities (work with family, family with work, health with family, etc.).
